Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Syzafi website, dashboard, lessons, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Syzafi ("Syzafi," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Syzafi Is — and Is Not

Syzafi is a research and education platform. It visualizes market-timing theories (such as Fibonacci retracement, Gann geometry, and lunar cycles) against cryptocurrency price data and publishes statistical backtests of those theories — including results showing that a method has no measurable predictive edge.

Syzafi is not: an investment adviser, broker-dealer, exchange, wallet, custodian, or signal service. Nothing on the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice; a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset; or a prediction of future prices. We never take custody of funds and never connect to your exchange accounts or wallets. See also our Risk Disclaimer, which is incorporated into these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with the laws that apply to you.

3. Accounts and Free Trial

Creating an account requires your name, a valid email address, a mobile phone number, a mailing address, and a password. We verify your email and phone number with one-time confirmation codes; you agree to receive those verification messages (standard carrier rates may apply to SMS). You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@syzafi.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full access. No payment card is required for the trial. When the trial ends, access to premium features (the live dashboard and premium lessons) is suspended until a paid plan is available and purchased. We may modify trial length or availability for new signups at any time; changes will not shorten a trial already in progress.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid subscriptions are not yet offered. When they launch, pricing and billing terms will be presented clearly before any charge, and these Terms will be updated. We will never charge you without your explicit enrollment in a paid plan.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service to violate any law; (b) probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or circumvent authentication or access controls, including the lesson paywall; (c) scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content or data from the Service except as permitted by a documented API; (d) resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute Service content without our written permission; (e) misrepresent Syzafi outputs as personalized financial advice when presenting them to others; or (f) interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

6. Market Data and Third-Party Content

Price data displayed on the Service is sourced from third parties, including Coinbase's public market data APIs and CoinGecko. We do not control and cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data, and feeds may be delayed, cached, or temporarily unavailable. Third-party names and logos belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement of Syzafi.

7. Backtests and Published Statistics

Our backtest results (hit rates, p-values, verdicts) are statistical summaries of historical data produced by the methodology described on the Service. They are provided in good faith for education. Historical analysis — including analysis showing that a method does not work — is not a guarantee of any future outcome. Results may change when tests are re-run on new data, and we may update published figures accordingly.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service — including its text, lessons, design, code, and the Syzafi name and logo — is owned by Syzafi or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Open-source components of our research toolkit are governed by their own licenses where indicated.

9. Assumption of Risk

Cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and speculative. You can lose some or all of any money you choose to put at risk. Any trading or investment decision you make is yours alone, made at your own risk, and should be based on your own research and, where appropriate, advice from a licensed professional. You agree that Syzafi has no liability for your trading or investment outcomes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DATA DISPLAYED WILL BE ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SYZAFI AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR DIGITAL ASSETS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — INCLUDING ANY TRADING OR INVESTMENT DECISION MADE IN CONNECTION WITH INFORMATION ON THE SERVICE — EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$50). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Syzafi from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Service.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@syzafi.com. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms or poses a risk to the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 7–12) survive.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. For material changes we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except where the law of your place of residence mandatorily provides otherwise.
