The Methods Shown Here Mostly Don't Work — By Our Own Tests

This bears repeating, because it is unusual for a website to say it: our own published backtests found that Gann Square of 9 levels showed no predictive edge over random chance (p = 0.69–0.90), and that the apparent lunar-timing signal failed replication when the data was split in half. We display these methods because they are historically significant and educational — not because they predict prices. Treat every level, date, and confluence window on the dashboard as a structured lens and a discipline exercise, never as a forecast.

Backtest Limitations

All statistics on the Method Scoreboard are historical analyses of past price data. They depend on methodological choices (turn detection thresholds, tolerance bands, sample period) that are documented but could reasonably be made differently. Past performance — and past non-performance — does not guarantee any future result. Figures may change when tests are re-run on new data.

Cryptocurrency Risk

Cryptocurrencies are extremely volatile and speculative. Prices can fall rapidly and permanently; entire tokens can lose all value; exchanges can fail; and regulatory changes can affect markets overnight. Never trade with money you cannot afford to lose entirely. Trading with leverage can result in losses exceeding your initial investment.

Market data is sourced from third parties (Coinbase, CoinGecko) and may be delayed, cached, incomplete, or occasionally wrong. Do not rely on Syzafi for time-critical trading decisions; verify prices with your own exchange before acting.
